Our beginner friendly Raspberry Pi Zero W Essentials Kit includes a Zero W and all the essentials you need to get started.
Raspberry Pi Zero W is a super-small, hackable, low-cost Single Board Computer (SBC) with wireless and Bluetooth connectivity. It has a massive user base and there are lots of existing code examples, guides and software libraries to experiment with. Check out the Raspberry Pi site for tutorials, getting started info and lots of other documentation.
The Zero W kit includes a 40 pin header, which you can solder on if you want to be able to attach HATs and other add-ons. The Zero WH kit comes with a 40 pin header pre-soldered.
Pi Zero boards use a mini HDMI port for connecting to a display and USB micro-B ports for connecting to power and USB devices. Most USB devices (like keyboards and mice) have USB-A connectors, so you might want to consider also picking up a USB micro-B to USB-A adaptor (like the one in our Zero Adaptor Kit) or a hub with a USB micro-B connector.
Note that these kits include a three pin UK power supply.
